Good day,
I imported a database back from an opencart 3 instance and character set isn't properly displayed.
Though i can't remember what template/lang. on original, the admin panel was French, and newer 3.0.3.7 has admin Engligh.
Maybe this is not related to the issue ...
The site displays like this:
Currency: "€ Euro" for €
"£ Pound Sterling" for £
$ properly shows.
There are other glitches in the charset on the pages.
What could cause this ?
Thanks & regards
Jean-François

Wrong config files....
Edit both config files and change all instances from http:// to https://

Good morning,
I updated config files, the issue remains.
Database import show characters like 'é' inside, i did a manual import qith mysql (the built in restort fails).
Could that be the reason, is there special character conversion during import/export ?
Regards,
Jean-François

Having the wrong charset could cause that. Use your web browser's developer to check the content-type header and the meta charset element are utf-8.
Then, possible corupted database when ws imported.

You should use UTF8, and for the database I recommend using the collation utf8mb3_general_ci.
